There’s a very small chance that the smaller parties will win the election or have any significant say in parliament. I wish that people who vote for these smaller parties will see this and rather add their votes to the DA. This will have a bigger impact rather than wasting time on smaller party votes

  By voting for the DA you will waste your vote to the majority of the parties vote therefore if you are a minority within the party structures you must side with the majority and in party structures it means 51 persent. If the DA getting votes from all over as a young white south african I will waste my vote to the majority of other culture groups. Whereas if I vote for a smaller party that keep their identity but working together as a group I can have my vote count for my viewpoint. All the minority parties together in parlement is bigger than the DA. So why waste your vote to the DA.
Reality

Come on guys – look at the demographics of the voting public. This poll does not make sense at all. The majority if the ANC is in the working class without proper knowledge of the internet – therefore we will never see a true reflection of what people will vote through this poll.

Surely the DA doesn’t think they can rely on these numbers…?

Will somebody tell the majority that in 20 years time they will still be living in squalor and protesting – IF they are still allowed to protest, after the constitution has been changed – because they were to weak to accept that their beloved ANC duped them and used them, robbed and abused them and they missed the chance to be in control of their future. Life must be tough living without a spine.

The ANC government has been in power for 20 years – is your life any better now? Do you have a secure job, modest home, decent healthcare, quality education, reliable transport, realistic service delivery, low crime, growing economy, developing infrastructure, affordable taxes? Yet you are promised these very things with every election!

Time to teach the uneducated masses how democracy is supposed to work – if you are not satisfied, you fire the government and vote in someone else – and there is no point in having 20-odd smaller meaningless parties breaking up the vote and making the same promises!

It’s simple: first you have to destroy the BEAST – vote for the largest opposition party – then give them 1 term to prove the promises and make a better difference!

And when he died we are left with children drowning in toilets, babies raped and murdered, policeman overwhelmed and underpaid, teachers charging for reports, millions of rand wasted on luxury cars while millions of your voters are unemployed and starving … ANC you are nothing but cANCer.

But he could then become President for Life and and beat Robert Mugabe hands down in the wealth stakes. At this stage Mugabe is one of the wealthiest men in the world.

This poll is not a true reflection of the 2014 elections, the DA is at the top because most of the votes are supposedly from the white community. People are not going to vote for a party that has the slogan”Stop E-Toll, Vote DA”. Are you saying we must wait till April then E-toll can be booted out. Voice your concerns in Parliament and let people see your efforts. South Africans are tired of empty promises and I wouldn’t be surprised if DA turns out to be an empty vessel when they are voted into power (Of which, that would never happen in the history of South Africa). Same message goes to all the political parties. ANC will win 2014 elections, no doubt. Political parties must find a way of banning e-tolls and not make it a campaign strategy.

  Thanks for your unbiased comment. Why can’t the DA ever be in power? Is it because there are some white people in it that reminds you of apartheid? Im sorry to say, the past is the past my friend not all white africans were racist apartheid sleazeballs. Alot of white people are being persecuted based on their skin even if they had nothing to do with apartheid.

This is ANOTHER TYPICAL Govermnet Ministerial get fat racket wih bribery and corruption with the compnay who erected these gantries and the SADDEST issue is that the MAJORITY of the funds is going overseas. Thise whoi approved of the construaction of the gantries and introduced this system should be jailed, asset forfeiture and kicked out. IF the Gov had imposed a MERE NINE cents (9) per litre on the petrol/diesel levy TWO years ago there would have been BILLIONS in the pot to support road structure and maintenance THROUGHOUT OUR COUBTRY – WHY target GAUTENG – spread this cost throughout the country wit a small petrol/diesl levy and ALL road users wherever contribute INCLUDING the millions oif Taxis and busses, motor bike and any other fuel driven vehicles. I hope tghe E-Toll will collapse and teach the Gov a serious lessen by just bulldozing this thriough WITHOUT due public debats and INVESTIGATION into the financial structure of the project VIVA NON TAG DRIVERS

E toll should be scrapped. Petrol and toll gates can maintain SA roads. Where does the money we pay for car licences go to? Gov did not erect new roads. They put e tolls on existing roads which have toll gates. We do not generate money. We are dependent on inadequate salaries.
